Choosing a belt from this collection

Start with the clothes you plan to wear. Tailored trousers suit a restrained combination of leather and a simple buckle; jeans leave more room for a wider strap, distinctive texture or stitching. Check the belt loops before choosing, as their width varies even between similar trousers.

A classic buckle secures the belt through a hole. An automatic buckle adjusts in small steps, while a clamp buckle allows continuous adjustment along the usable section of the strap. The closing mechanism and the attachment to the leather are listed separately: the attachment determines whether the belt can be shortened.

Pair a black belt with black shoes, or choose brown to complement warmer leather tones. Compare several photographs of your chosen colour.
